Reframe your midlife.
Redesign your future.
When your life works - but no longer quite fits.
And you’re not entirely sure why.
Midlife is not a crisis.
It is a turning point.
Many people arrive at midlife with a quiet sense that something no longer fits.
From the outside, life may look successful.
Career. Family. Stability.
But underneath, something has shifted.
The assumptions that shaped the first half of life no longer fully hold.
You sense you are capable of more, but cannot yet define what that looks like.
The Redesign Project
is built for this moment.
It provides a calm, structured approach to redesigning midlife.
Built around The SHIFT™ Method, the work combines thoughtful interaction with a clear framework for transforming your future.
You step back from the assumptions that shaped the first half of life, identify where misalignment has developed, and clarify what matters now.
From there, you begin to design the next phase deliberately - with intention, direction and ambition.

About Sarah Brooks
Sarah Brooks created The Redesign Project to provide a new perspective on midlife, seeing it not as a crisis but an opportunity.
A transformational practitioner with a long-standing focus on how people change over time, Sarah’s unique SHIFT™ Method is a structured approach to rethinking the challenges of midlife and how to redesign it.
Sarah's work is informed by theory and lived experience: having redesigned her own life in her forties, Sarah pursued her career in personal performance alongside a successful career as a television producer.
Her framework allows people to develop a new way of thinking and create a life which is both fulfilling and sustainable.

FAQs
-
The Redesign Project is a structured system designed to help people deliberately redesign the second half of their lives.
Many people reach midlife and begin to feel that something no longer quite fits. Their life may look successful from the outside, yet internally there is a sense of misalignment or restlessness.
The Redesign Project provides a thoughtful process for stepping back, understanding the structure of your life, and intentionally shaping what comes next.
At the heart of the work is the SHIFT™ framework, a structured methodology for redesigning life with clarity and intention.
-
The Redesign Project is designed for thoughtful professionals who have built a meaningful life but sense that the next chapter needs to be more deliberate.
Participants are often people who:
feel stuck or restless in midlife
want greater clarity about what comes next
feel ready for a more intentional life direction
are curious about redesigning their future rather than drifting into it
Many participants are in their 40s, 50s or early 60s, although the work is relevant for anyone experiencing a significant life transition.
-
Many people experience a sense of midlife misalignment.
This happens when the life structures created earlier in life no longer fully reflect who you have become.
The Redesign Project helps people step back from the momentum of everyday life and
understand where drift has occurred
clarify what matters now
redesign the next chapter deliberately
It replaces confusion and uncertainty with clarity and direction.
-
SHIFT™ is the structured methodology that underpins The Redesign Project.
It guides participants through five stages of intentional redesign:
Stop the Spin – stepping back to understand the structure of your life
Highlight Misalignment – identifying where drift has occurred
Identify What Fits Now – clarifying values and priorities
Find Your Way Forward – defining direction and identity
Transition with Intention – activating meaningful change
The framework provides a clear pathway from insight to practical action.
-
The SHIFT™ programme is a six-week cohort experience where participants work through the redesign process in a structured and supportive environment.
Each week focuses on a specific stage of the SHIFT™ framework.
Participants engage in guided reflection, structured exercises and group discussion.
By the end of the programme participants leave with:
a Redesign Blueprint for their life
a 90-day activation plan
a clearer sense of identity and direction for the next chapter
-
The programme runs over six weeks.
Each week includes a 90-minute live session delivered online via Zoom.
The small cohort format allows for thoughtful discussion, reflection and shared insight.
Between sessions participants use the SHIFT™ Companion Guide to deepen their thinking and apply the ideas in their own lives.
-
The Strategic Intensive is a private one-to-one version of the redesign process.
It is designed for individuals who prefer working privately or who want a focused and accelerated process.
Across four structured sessions we apply the SHIFT™ framework directly to your life and future direction.
Participants leave with a clear redesign blueprint and a practical activation plan for the months ahead.

Traditional coaching is often conversational and open-ended.
The Redesign Project is built around a structured methodology.
Participants move through a defined sequence of stages designed to move them from insight to action.
Rather than simply exploring ideas, the programme produces tangible outcomes, specifically a redesign blueprint and a 90-day activation plan.
-
Participants often describe gaining:
clarity about what truly matters now
a renewed sense of direction
confidence about the next chapter of life
Most importantly, they leave with a structured plan for turning insight into meaningful change.
